Purpose of the Job

The role of the Electro & Mechanical (E&M) Interface Engineer will be to define and manage project interfaces between Subsystems either internally or exernally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review the different design packages in liase with E&M subsystems.
- Identify the System Interfaces, create interface register.
- Develop the Interface Control Documents (ICD), propose the Leader of the interface, liaise with Subsystems to ensure the production and agreement of the ICD.
- Ensure interface consistency and completeness by reviewing designs and actively participating in requirements management process
- Manage the detailed interfaces definition relevant to 3rd Parties.
- Identify risks, scope gaps and grey areas and escalate as needed.

Educational requirements

University Degree in Engineering

Preferred to be Licensed with Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng.) or in progress

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Interface Engineering
- Field experience and a good knowledge of railway systems
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of the rail construction environment and engineering practices
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication
- Self motivated, detailed oriented ability to learn new techniques in a changing environment are desired.
