Role Responsibilities:

Comply with and be a leader in all safety rules and standard safety practices Conducting inspections and repairs on industrial equipment. Work in various environments (indoor and outdoor) Graymont is a 24x7 operation with starting shift expectations: Monday to Friday – Day shift Overtime Pay (double time) as per the Union Agreement and participate in On-Call rotation for emergencies. Rebuilding pumps, speed reducers, belt conveyors, and other types of equipment. Managing work orders. Executing layout, fabrication and implementation of new equipment installations. Cutting, brazing, and welding mild steel, stainless steel, brass, and aluminum.

Required Qualifications:

Journeyman Millwright Red Seal Certification  Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience.  Class 5 Valid Driver’s License­­ with Clean Abstract Mechanical experience an asset, must be able to pass Aptitude Test Experience with welding and fabrication is essential Physically fit and ability to carry 50lbs Self-motivated, goal oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy Proven track record of developing and maintaining a safe work culture.

Preferred Skills

Trades tickets, or experience from oil rigs, welding, mechanics, millwrights and machinists. Extensive experience or equivalent training in repair of all types of industrial equipment, i.e., screw and belt conveyors, bucket elevators, water and chemical pumps, grinding equipment and vibratory feeders. Experience working in industrial environments
