Driver / Boom Truck Operator

As a driver at Beacon, you will travel locally to deliver construction materials to our customers, while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations.
A clean driving record and customer service skills are a must Experienced, safety-conscious and customer-focused drivers are encouraged to apply
We are looking for experienced drivers (class 1 ou 3) to join our team in Québec City as a Boom Truck Driver.
What can I expect from Beacon?
- Hiring bonus of $1,500 ($750 after 3 months of continuous service and $750 after 12 months of continuous service)
- Boom Truck Training paid by the company
- Health, dental and vision insurance
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week

What will my day to day look like?
- Perform pre-departure checks
- Carry out the delivery of materials in a safe manner
- Keep the various registers up to date
- Respect delivery times
- Ensure compliance of transport documents
- Ensure that the goods, the trailer and the truck are in good condition and clean
- Assist in the preparation of orders
- All other related tasks
What are the requirements?
- Secondary 5
- Valid class 1 or class 3 driver's license
- Good driving record
- Reliability, availability, courtesy and politeness
- Have customer service and safety at heart
- Important asset: experience driving a boom truck
- Another advantage: valid forklift certificate
