Purpose of Role: T he Sr. Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management including initiation, planning, execution, control, close out, preparing documents, budgets and approvals. Manage and communicate with all stakeholders in a timely manner, specifically our clients. This includes working with both internal and external parties to ensure the timely and on budget completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management : Manage multi-disciplinary Engineered to Order projects in Oil Sands, HRM and Comminution including both capital and smaller concurrent projects. Client Updates: Professionally communicate with the customers, clients, and 3rd Party Consulting Engineering Firms, in a timely fashion, any technical Issues or changes in project scope Support Team Members: Coordinate, assist, and/or supervise other PMs and project team members in larger more complex projects following established guidelines to ensure superior quality product is delivered to customers on time and on budget. Create and Gather Reports: Use MS Project, SAP, and Excel to create various reports relative to the project, including budgets, timelines, open issue lists, and other supporting documents. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree – Mechanical Engineering 10+ years of experience in a project management role Experience using MS Project Experience working with pumps, piping, fabrication, etc. preferred
