Our client is a manufacturing market leader looking to hire a Sr. Digital Transformation - Project Manager

About the Opportunity

  • This is a new role when one will be

  • They recently hired new Director – PMO coming from Deloitte to establish a new PMO.

  • This is a new opening where the incumbent is responsible for developing roadmap for enterprise solution implementation and custom development.

  • The most important project this person will work on is creating a customer portal which is a very critical project which will last for a year.

  • This new portal is focused on providing better accessibility for B2B and B2C clients for product selection, order management and shipping/logistics.

  • The incumbent needs to have strong analytical mindset to understand the business processes and guiding the development team to meet the requirements, working closely with the vendors, etc.

  • Also should have data analytics understanding where they are able to write simple SQL queries.

About You

  • Strong enterprise application implementation and customization experience

  • Hands on experience with entire project life cycle management (Forecasting, tracking, budgeting, resource management) , SDLC, best practices, project management principles, etc

  • Experience in implementation of enterprise level applications like ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.

  • Strong vendor management experience

  • Strong communication skills – ability to deal with various business functions

  • PMP certification

  • Must have some experience working in consulting shops and dealing with various external clients to have diverse project management experience. Companies like – Deloitte, E&Y, Cognizant, CGI, etc.

  • Local to GTA - ability to commute 100% onsite to Mississauga office

Nice to Have :

  • Agile certification

  • Kanban certification

  • Worked for any manufacturing clients while working for the consulting shop

Salary Range

$140,000/year
