Position Overview:

Bernecker's Nursery is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and play a key role in analyzing and interpreting our business data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, as well as a passion for plants and gardening. We are looking for someone who can take complex data sets and turn them into easy-to-understand insights that will help us make informed business decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, organize, and analyze data from a variety of sources such as sales, inventory, and customer feedback

- Identify patterns and trends within the data to understand customer behaviors and preferences

- Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for timely and accurate insights

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions

- Use statistical methods to analyze data and provide recommendations for business decision-making

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization

- Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence role

- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain data to non-technical stakeholders

- Passion for plants and gardening is a plus
