Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is seeking local, (KITIMAT or TERRACE resident) full-time Admin Coordinator to join our team in Kitimat, British Columbia. Successful applicants will provide administrative services to a large and dynamic work site, including, but not limited to, ensuring adherence to site rules, filing, scheduling and site access control.

Duties Include:

  • Maintaining excellent customer service to guests, colleagues, and site workers
  • Performing the administrative tasks for the security team, including scanning, printing and filing
  • Processing site access requests (Visitors, Vendors, Deliveries)
  • Creating and controlling site identification cards
  • Assisting SSRG site staff with Payroll & Dayforce questions and concerns
  • Assisting with the daily scheduling of the guards/posts
  • Monitoring access control
  • Assisting with new hire onboarding

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in an administrative role
  • Valid OFA Level 1 Certificate
  • Valid FULL Class 5 Drivers License and acceptable Driver's Abstract
  • Valid Transportation Endorsement Certificate
  • Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test (SSRG will arrange)
  • Must be able to pass criminal record check
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office

Additional Information:

  • PPE provided. Applicants need to provide their own black, 6 inch CSA approved safety boots.
  • 10-hour shifts, day shift, 5 days a week- Monday to Friday
  • Must reside in Kitimat or Terrace only

Perks of the job:

  • $25.00/hour (plus overtime)
