How you'll make an impact Build and maintain excellent rapport with our clients and insurance providers Assist clients with their day to day servicing needs which can include escalated claim inquiries from plan administrators and owners (life, disability, critical illness, health, dental, travel, etc.) Follow up with insurance providers for timely completion of service requests Provide relevant industry information to clients and prepare employer and employee communication memos Maintain client information (CRM, client files) Research and participate in webinars to build and maintain group benefit knowledge Engage other team members including the Benefits Consultant as complex client situations arise Answer telephone inquiries and respond promptly and professionally to email Exercise the utmost confidentiality in receiving information from clients Collaborate with client service colleagues throughout our branch to continuously improve our client service deliverables Complete ad hoc projects and duties as required About you Post-secondary graduate from an accredited college or university degree or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Well-developed problem solving skills Detail oriented Ability to work in a fast paced professional environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices (not required but an asset) Written and verbal bilingualism (English/French) considered a strongly regarded asset GBA or CEBS certification considered an asset #LI-Hybrid Compensation and benefits We value inclusion and diversity Inclusion and diversity (I&D) is a core part of our business, and it’s embedded into the fabric of our organization.
