Haakon Industries is hiring for the Point of Need Department This department is responsible ensuring the assembly teams have all materials and equipment required to maintain smooth production flow.

Necessary Skills:

Self-motivated High performer Proactive Excellent communications skills Ability to work independently Maintain a quick and steady pace throughout your work shift Fork truck license (recommended)

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Maintain stock levels of production materials Monitor rates of stock usage, abnormalities in usage, and outages Proactively stage components for immediate use: coils, fans, dampers, etc. Learn to anticipate production needs to avoid hold-ups Read and interpret production schedule Identify missing parts Communicate directly to the purchasing agent Remove hazardous and non-hazardous manufacturing waste Lift and carry heavy items

Shifts:

Rotating morning and afternoon shifts Morning shift: 5:45am – 2:15pm Afternoon shift: 2:30pm – 12:30am
