Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the kitchen and at least 1 year of experience working in a restaurant. This role requires the ability to prepare food efficiently, ensure timely delivery of dishes, and manage the workflow of the assigned station.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure that food is served in a timely manner and at the correct temperature.
- Oversee the cooking process from start to finish, determining the time required for each step.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a restaurant kitchen.
- Working knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
