About the Role

Represent the LCBO as the primary contact to this very important and growing customer base for all needs and inquiries allowing for frictionless interaction with the LCBO.

Develop and evolve commercial relationships establishing the LCBO as a valuable vendor partner with convenience and grocery retailers in meeting their goals and sales objectives. 

Exercise judgment and make decisions on behalf of the LCBO which address customer needs and take in to account impacts on LCBO operations, the province’s regulatory framework and established policies and procedures.

Collaborate with internal departments to develop workable solutions in support of the customer’s strategic direction, operational challenges, and business planning.

Advocate for the customer by championing concerns and proactively communicating to support a continuous service improvement culture.

Facilitate regular meetings and touchpoints with customers focused on their needs and objectives to evolve and grow the business.

Train, support, and mentor other Account Managers in developing and maintaining foundational, positive business relationships with customer base.

About You

Degree or diploma in Business Management/Administration and/or Supply Chain Management or related field

2-3 years experience leading customer accounts and proven track record of building productive business/commercial relationships.

Experience in the convenience and/or grocery retail industry.

Ability to build positive partnerships with internal and external partners, set and manage priorities, and meet deadlines, all within a multi-tasking environment.

Effective communication (verbal and written), sound problem solving abilities and have a customer-focused attitude.

Demonstrated technical competence with MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other systems and office automation equipment.
