What we offer
Reporting to the Director, Homebuilding Technologies, the Business Analyst will support assigned business applications and business processes relating to Purchasing, Construction & Warranty activities. Working across both our US and Canadian operations, this role is involved in the development, implementation and on-going operations of our core ERP application suite JDE, and BuildPro.
The Business Analyst should understand the detailed features and functionality of an application from the user and technical perspective as well as how it aligns with the business process. They will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to implement new and enhanced applications through the Solution Delivery Life Cycle. This is part of the IT Enterprise Services team which helps devise and implement solutions to meet the needs of the Mattamy stakeholders.
The Business Analyst will work closely with third-party IT service and technology providers, relevant business and project committees and will engage internal business stakeholders to orchestrate and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, cost-effective application services and solutions.

Participate in process improvement as well as gathering and documenting requirements through the software development lifecycle Manage scope and impact of changes Perform functional component design and no-code configuration of platforms Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis Manage small to medium-sized solutions such as minor enhancements and report development Ensure all appropriate Service Levels and quality objectives are metWhat you bring
Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience. Ability to travel within North America. Proficiency with report writing tools including but not limited to PowerBI. Ability to interpret business processes, workflows, and systems to proactively identify solutions or opportunities for application improvements (e.g. utilizing application functionality or improving application system performance). Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, management, and project teams. Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and time management skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Bonus points
