Our Komatsu, P&H, Joy, Montabert, Modular Mining Systems, Hensley Industries, NTC, and Gigaphoton equipment and services are used to extract fundamental minerals and develop modern infrastructure. We want to add a General Labourer to our Ontario distribution group to support our Shop and warehousing teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

Participate in and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve Komatsu's organizational Safety, Health, and Environmental goals Complies with Komatsu company policies and procedures. Assist/support the shop and field service technicians with mechanical tasks Perform Housekeeping Duties in the shop, office and outside yard Operate forklift, basic hand tools and powered hand tools. i.e. Drills, Disc Grinders etc. Build strong working relationships with relevant co-workers Assist as required in any physical inventory and general warehouse duties Processing orders through a computerized inventory system Ability to respond to on-call duties and act on potential delivery requests Coordinate freight and delivery functions when required Perform general building maintenance when required Perform general tasks as assigned by the Supervisor 

Qualifications/Requirements

Valid Driver’s License and own transportation are required Ability to travel as required Previous experience in material handling Candidates must be detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy Qualified candidates will have strong work ethics and mechanical ability Experience in production and manufacturing environments is an asset Previous experience with hand tools and assembly and/or fabrication is an asset Able to lift to 10kgs safely Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving Self-motivated, can multi-task and manage change in responsibilities Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team Fluent in computer literacy. Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP) systems experience an advantage
