Role Description


Kal Tire is seeking a CommercialServiceTechnician to join our busy team inTruro,NS. As a new team member, you’llperform front shop service, off-site fleet service,and roadside assistance in the Belleville area,while using your exceptional customer service skills.Problem solver and adaptable to changing situations.

Job Responsibilities

Troubleshoot,repair,and perform service work on commercial tires and wheelsincludingremoving wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installation, reinstallations,and diagnostics. Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear,and overall conditions. Answerservice calls to provide tire-related assistance for commercial vehiclesstranded on the road. Interact with customers in a friendly professional manner. Listen to their tire-related concerns, provide advice,and recommend appropriateoptions based on their vehicle type, usage,and budget. Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendationsfor maintenance and repairs.

Job Requirements

Valid Driver’s Licence Mechanical aptitudeandproblem-solvingattitude. Medium truck, farm, and industrial tire service could be an asset. Strong attention to detailand accuracy in performing tire services. You are a self-starterdedicatedto maintaining a positive, collaborative, andconstructiveworkplace. Comfortable working withminimalsupervision. Enjoy creating positiveand building long-term relationships. Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50lbs at shoulder height. Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures.

Special Requirements

Hours

Monday –Friday 8:00am –5pm
The position would require after-hours services. On call
