Overview

Bechtel Infrastructure will work in a Delivery Partner role within an integrated team with the customer organization for a Subway Project in Toronto, Ontario. The project scope includes the design build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15km of new alignment, being performed by three key PPP Contractors and multiple advanced early works (EAW) packages Contractors. Bechtel form a key component of the overall Integrated Project Delivery team (comprising the customer, MX; the Technical Advisor, and Bechtel as the Delivery Partner).

The Pape SOE Technical Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and assessing the contractors progress for shop drawing production, quantity growth and submittal delivery/ tracking the reviews.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinates the efforts between all parties to develop the assurance packages for PAPE SOE to align engineering/ construction deliverables with the assurance gate process Coordinates activities with the deployed interface lead/ coordinator Reviews Contractors progress for production of detailing, shop drawings, etc against approved schedules, evaluates changes and recommends corrective action when required. Monitors the flow of information required from third parties to assure the timely progress of the engineering work/ integration aspects. Monitoring, tracking and escalating the timely EOR reviews of Contractor Submittals Monitoring the production of IFC production Monitoring the timely response of RFI’s, FCD’s and NCRs throughout the project team (contractors and internal IPT) Responsible for implementing any OL Program Engineering Management plans, procedures and processes cascaded by the Program Technical Delivery Supervisor Assesses contractors package submission quality performance factor and works with the Program Technical Manager if quality is poor Work with the deployed Interface Lead/ Coordinator to review project schedules for consideration of interface requirements so that deliverables are provided in a timely manner across the program; Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction. Never knowingly put Metrolinx’s information or information systems at risk. Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or Minimum of 2 years’ experience working (including internships) in the rail industry and/or large-scale infrastructure projects; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Demonstrated technical writing, data management, verbal communication, presentation, and teaching skills. An understanding of rail engineering procedures, principles, and concepts. Experience working with teams and stakeholders in the development and delivery of large infrastructure projects. Ability to communicate across technical disciplines (engineering, construction, operations, maintenance). Computer skills (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
