Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan, communicate and follow work for assigned mechanical team; Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices; Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to members of the crew; Hold yourself and crew members accountable towards attainment of safety and performance targets; Perform workplace inspections and plan corrective measures if required; Report work planned and realized daily using the tools provided; Perform monthly HS meetings with crews presenting the provided material; Answer queries and handle requests related to maintenance mechanical; Maximize equipment utilization and minimize downtime; Prepare reports and complete documentation related to mechanical; In collaboration with procurement, purchases equipment for current and future needs; Provide assistance to the General Foreman and Superintendent in the hiring of mechanics; Complete time entry, vacation requests and scheduling; and Any other task as directed by direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

Technical training or certification or Diploma of Collegial Studies; 5-8 years of related experience; Minimum 3 years of experience in supervisory roles; Good understanding and working knowledge of the applicable legislation and regulations for Mines and Mining Plants; Self-starter who is able to anticipate needs and work independently with minimal supervision; Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing work environment; The individual should have demonstrated a high level of energy, self motivation and strong organizational skills; Excellent inter-personal skills together with an ability to facilitate commitment to a cooperative team effort; Good communication skills, both orally and written with both internal and external contacts and the ability to work with all levels of the organization; and Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
