2 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑Helper

It is a condition of this posting that your home unit canaccommodate your temporary absence in the event

This position will involve working the day shifts. The shift isnot to be interpreted as a guarantee.

The Laundry Helper participates as a member of the Laundry/Linenteam and understands the role of all members of

the team. The incumbent will have the maturity required to workeffectively with all levels of staff and participate in a

structured approach of problem solving.

Qualifications:

* Must have Grade 12 education

* Must be able to speak, read and write English at a levelrequired to perform the duties of the job

* Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the joband work within environmental elements

* Previous experience in a laundry facility with knowledge offolding procedures and the laundry process required

* Must understand the use of computers and Microsoft programs

* Must be able to work with minimum supervision, show teamworkskills, logical thinker and self motivation

Salary Range: $24.883 to 25.227
