As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Business Development Specialist to join their team.

 Job Summary:

The National Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving business growth within the industrial and infrastructure sectors across Canada. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that enhance our market position.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive strategies within the industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Develop and implement business development strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth.

Create a pipeline of awarded projects within the Government, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Civil Infrastructure and Utility sectors across Canada.

Identify and engage potential clients through various channels including networking, cold calling, and industry events.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners within the Government, Industrial, Oil & Gas, Civil Infrastructure and Utility sectors.

Understand client needs and develop tailored solutions that address their challenges and objectives.

Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and executing effective sales plans.

Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts.

Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable deals. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

Utilize CRM systems to track and manage customer relationships and sales activities.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Strong understanding of the Canadian industrial and infrastructure markets, including key players and industry trends.

Ability to travel nationally as required.
