DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Fort McMurray, AB.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop and or at the customer's site.

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Heavy duty Red seal certification- OFF road.

Experience:

Basic level field service work experience

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products.

Mining experience open pit.

Working on Komatsus products.

High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)

Customer service experience

(Intermediate):

Completes complex internal engine repairs

Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision

This position is:

Safety Sensitive Position

14 shifts on, 14 shifts off rotation

Day and Night shift availability

Staged from Suncor Base Plant

Random drug and alcohol testing on site.

Service vehicle and tooling are provided
