The Associate Director, Project Delivery is responsible for line management of employees in the Project Delivery Group, providing oversight and leadership in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include hiring and supervising of Senior Project Managers (SrPMs), Project Managers (PMs) and Associate Project Managers (APMs), ensuring availability of appropriate resources to meet company and project objectives and ensuring alignment across the various project teams.

He/she is also responsible for overseeing employee training and guiding professional development to ensure optimal performance, compliance with Innovaderm systems and processes, as well as development of effective leadership skills.


More specifically, the Associate Director, Project Delivery must:

  • Manage and develop Innovaderm Project Delivery employees to ensure high quality work
  • performance and retention of high-quality employees.
  • Support career development, provide performance feedback, communicate team & individual
  • goals as well as expectations and promote a positive work environment.
  • Review project tasks and timelines, determine the level of resources and resource projections to
  • ensure project teams assignments are consistent with client needs, expectations and contractual expectations.
  • Ensure that project management activities are performed to the Sponsor’s satisfaction, ensuring
  • timely quality deliverables, within budget and in accordance with applicable standard operating
  • procedures (SOPs), regulations, good clinical practices, as well as study-specific requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of optimal study plans with thorough risk management mitigations
  • and contingencies, by being a sounding board and mentor to the Project Delivery team.
  • Work with the Training team to design and deliver relevant training to the Project Delivery teams
  • and/or management groups.
  • Write, review and update related SOPs and TOOLs.
  • Act as employees’ first point of contact, addressing employee relation issues and escalating issues, as necessary.

Le Directeur associé, Exécution des projets, est responsable de la gestion hiérarchique des employés du groupe de livraison de projets, en offrant supervision et leadership conformément aux politiques de l'entreprise et aux réglementations applicables.


Les responsabilités incluent le recrutement et la supervision des gestionnaires de projet seniors (SrPMs), gestionnaires de projet (PMs) et gestionnaire de projet associé (APMs), en veillant à la disponibilité des ressources adéquates pour atteindre les objectifs de l’entreprise et des projets, ainsi qu'à l’alignement entre les différentes équipes de projet.


Il/Elle est également responsable de superviser la formation des employés et de guider leur développement professionnel afin d’assurer une performance optimale, la conformité aux systèmes et processus d’Innovaderm, ainsi que le développement de compétences efficaces en leadership.


Plus précisément, le Directeur associé, Exécution des projets doit :

  • Gérer et développer les employés d’Innovaderm dans le groupe de livraison de projets pour garantir une performance de haute qualité et la rétention des employés de talent.
  • Soutenir le développement de carrière, fournir des retours sur la performance, communiquer les objectifs individuels et d’équipe ainsi que les attentes, et promouvoir un environnement de travail positif.
  • Examiner les tâches et les échéances des projets, déterminer le niveau de ressources et les projections de ressources pour garantir que les affectations des équipes de projet soient en adéquation avec les besoins et attentes des clients ainsi que les engagements contractuels.
  • S'assurer que les activités de gestion de projet sont réalisées conformément aux attentes du Sponsor, en garantissant la qualité et les livrables dans les délais et budgets impartis, tout en respectant les procédures opérationnelles standard (SOP), les réglementations, les bonnes pratiques cliniques et les exigences spécifiques à l’étude.
  • Contribuer à l’élaboration de plans d’étude optimaux avec des mesures de gestion des risques et des solutions de contingence approfondies, en étant un mentor et une personne-ressource pour l’équipe de livraison de projets.
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe de formation pour concevoir et fournir des formations pertinentes aux équipes de livraison de projets et/ou aux groupes de gestion.
  • Rédiger, examiner et mettre à jour les SOP et TOOLs associés.
  • Agir comme premier point de contact pour les employés, traiter les problèmes de relations de travail et escalader les problèmes, si nécessaire.


Profil recherché:

PROFIL

  • B.Sc. dans un domaine pertinent à la gestion de projet clinique. Certification PMP un atout;
  • Excellentes compétences orales et écrites en anglais. Bonne connaissance du français un atout;
  • Minimum de 7 ans d'expérience combinée en gestion clinique et gestion de projet dans l'industrie de la biotechnologie, pharmaceutique ou en CRO;
  • Expérience dans une CRO un atout;
  • Excellente maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Capacité à travailler dans un environnement en constante évolution et à établir de bonnes relations avec les collègues et les commanditaires;
  • Apprentissage rapide, bonne capacité d'adaptation et polyvalence;
  • Excellentes compétences en leadership, jugement, compétences interpersonnelles et résolution de problèmes;
  • Solides compétences en leadership, organisation, communication, gestion du temps et multitâche;
  • Disponibilité pour voyager jusqu'à 10 % du temps;

IDEAL PROFILE

  • B.Sc. in a field relevant to clinical project management. PMP certification an asset;
  • Excellent oral and written English skills. Good knowledge of French an asset;
  • Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in clinical and project management in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry.
  • Experience in a CRO is an asset;
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment and establish good relationships with colleagues and sponsors;
  • Quick learner, good adaptability and versatile;
  • Excellent leadership, judgement, soft and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills;
  • Travel up to 10% of the time;
