We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Pentonville, a  category B  Prison located in London.

HMP Pentonville is a male prison that ha a capacity for 1200 inmates, it is a remand prison for inmates awaiting trial. Well situated in London and is 10 minutes from Kings Cross station. Has free parking.

Hours

Shift times: - ; Mixture of weekdays and weekends Not a fixed shift pattern Required to work one weekend in four

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £44,000per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary.

We believe in putting the patient first, regardless of the environment or their history. The prison population is one of the most vulnerable and challenged patient groups in society and the delivery of their health care is conducted within often difficult and demanding environments. 

As a paramedic you will;

Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.

Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.
