We’re looking for Valve Technician , local to the Red Deer area, to join our team with an immediate start date for a long-term maintenance contract. What You’ll Do:

Service, Inspect, assembly and test relief valves Service, inspection, assembly and testing isolation and control valves Troubleshoot, teardown and rebuild industrial valves.

Qualifications :

Journeyperson Pipefitter with Valve experience Valid driver’s license with a 3-year driver’s abstract Required Safety Tickets: CSTS-2020Energy Safety Canada Fall ProtectionConfined SpaceEWP (considered an asset) Pre-access Drug and Alcohol test

Working Conditions  

Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions Working in a confined space Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements  

Must be clean shaven Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance Stand or walk for long periods of time Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
