Neptune Coring a division of Lafarge Canada Inc. is a leader in the trenchless construction industry providing services to major underground construction companies within the Edmonton and surrounding areas. We specialize in: Pilot Tube Auger Boring, Case Boring, Pipe Jacking, Pipe Ramming, Micro-Tunneling etc.

The Role:

Neptune Coring is recruiting 2nd & 3rd Year Welding Apprentices for various projects in and around the Edmonton area.

Welders are responsible for equipment used in the shop and various worksites. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.

Responsibilities: 

General safety in and around equipment and worksites Reporting unsafe job sites and procedures Maintain a positive image to the customers and the general public Ability to plan work and self- direct Ability to work in physically demanding environments outside in the field as well as in the shop/yard Ability to work in tunnels and confined spaces

Qualification 

A valid apprentice ticket is required A valid Driver's License First consideration will be given to those who have current CSTS, First Aid, Confined Space and Fall Protection certificates.

The working environment is indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates must also be able to work some overtime, weekends and holidays.
