Your Role:

As a Senior Analyst on our team, you will provide specialized support to Directors and Corporate Managers in Accounting and Reporting. This includes conducting detailed and complex analysis and research of financial and non-financial data to support these activities. You will collaborate with various Finance stakeholders to gather information that supports the results of their analysis. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to accounting policies, practices, and internal controls, identifying deviations and making recommendations for changes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

You will conduct a detailed and complex analysis of financial and non-financial data to support:

  • The quarterly IFRS Financial Statements for Senior Management and the Audit Committee
  • The Consolidated IFRS Financial Statements included in the Annual Report
  • The annual audit and quarterly procedures
  • Compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Quarterly and Annual Compliance with the Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS)
  • The accounting and financial disclosures for complex accounting transactions or new IFRS Accounting Standards or IFRS Sustainability Standards
  • Presentations prepared for Senior Management and the Audit Committee

 

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • A professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
  • Three to five years of experience in a related field, demonstrating growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Knowledge and experience in financial reporting and accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to interpret and reorganize complex data and information for presentation to all levels of management clearly and concisely
  • Skills to make written recommendations for senior management
  • Capability to work with various levels of management and as a strong team player
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
