Position Summary
General Managers are responsible for the day-to-day integral operations of a Dutch Love retail store and ultimately held accountable to all aspects of brand and business operations, including but not limited to people, product, room integrity and financial metrics.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Maximize store sales via consistent leadership, planning and executing the brand strategy and vision with all team membersManage and report on all store activities and communicate store requirements as necessaryEffectively delegate responsibilities and assign tasks as neededFollow through with deliverables on a daily, weekly and periodic basisManage staff by maintaining clear and open communication, using disciplinary action when necessaryEnforce all company policies and programs ensuring compliance, including loss and theft preventionEvaluate, optimize and maintain employee shifts/hours based on a performance based scheduling systemStrive to meet sales targets and achieve profitability by controlling costs through effective labour and inventory budgetsRequired Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 19+ years of ageLegally authorized to work in CanadaMinimum 1 year experience in a supervisor or leadership roleStrong organization skills and attention to detailMust obtain Selling it Right
