The Opportunity

We are hiring two Clinical Faculty Administrative Coordinators to join the School of Medicine team The Coordinators provide administrative and operational support to the Clinical & Faculty Affairs unit in the School of Medicine, assisting the Associate Dean and other leaders in the efficient planning and execution of all clinical faculty recruitment, administrative functions and activities in the department including clinical faculty engagement. The Administrative Coordinators research, organize and manage confidential and sensitive information related to clinical and faculty affairs as a trusted member of the School of Medicine's administrative team.

Qualifications

Completion of a post-secondary degree preferably in a business-related discipline or equivalent is required. A minimum of three years of relevant work experience within a university environment. Experience in a support function as part of a senior management team, involving high-level problem-solving skills. Previous experience supporting staff or clinical faculty recruitment processes would be considered an asset.  Experience in financial and budget management, including preparing and monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and reporting expenditures. Strong oral and written communications skills. Proficient in Google Workspace / Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong planning, organization and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and task management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with systems for creating job postings, managing hiring processes, and calculating salaries would be considered an asset. Knowledge of academic and administrative processes and procedures. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Initiative and motivation. Strong decision-making skills.
