Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing department and assisting nursing staff with providing safe personal care.
Main Duties:
Assist with feeding residents during breakfast and lunch times; Participate in the Quality Management Program through data collection and analysis; Conduct research on various current health topics and assist with the coordination of educational presentations; Organize the Staff Resource Centre by rearranging and updating educational materials; Update inventory list as directed; Provide administrative support such as recording minutes, creating forms in both English and Chinese, etc.; Other duties as may be assigned.Qualifications:
Current enrolment in a post-secondary Nursing or other health care related program in a recognized University/College; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Career-related work experience; Experience working with seniors an asset; Proficient in English and Chinese is preferred.Other Requirements:
