Aircraft Mechanic (YYZ Contract)

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Operations, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is a highly skilled, licensed professional with extensive experience. The AME is responsible for conducting maintenance safely, ensuring compliance, and maximizing efficiency. Key responsibilities include servicing, troubleshooting, conducting maintenance, repairs, modifications, fabrications, installations, and functional tests on electrical systems and their components. This position will start on Contract with the option to convert to a Permanent Employee after the contract term is complete.

Requirements

  • Licensed M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Transport Canada
  • Experience on Boeing 737, including NG and/or MAX (asset)
  • B737 NG or MAX Endorsement (asset)
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mississauga, Ontario.

Relocation package is not offered.

Work Environment

The role operates on a 5-5-4 shift pattern at the Pearson Airport hangar. Shifts start at 6am or 7am depending on the schedule, rotating from day to night every second cycle. The selected candidate will be part of a pioneering team of 12 individuals at this new base in Toronto Pearson.
