Job Description

Segula is looking for 4 quality technicians to be mobilized on the site of one of its main customers (Montreal Rive Sud) to perform daily inspection on the rolling stock of the REM.

Job description:

Be responsible for daily and monthly inspections on all REM cars Update technical documentation Update the obsolescence plan Make proposals for updating instructions and work processes based on the inspection procédure. Report activities associated with REM inspections. Advise on the improvement of quality reporting and current inspections. Be involved in the following activities in parallel with inspection activities:Preventive maintenance of railway equipmentDocumentation of routine repairs on trainsRepair and installation of train parts,Examination and listing of faults; correction with operator approvalCombining tests for train commissioningSupport for quarterly and more frequent tests

Qualifications

Interested in railway sector DEC or AEC in industrial mechanics or mechanical engineering Young engineering graduates in a related field (manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or transportation engineering) also sought. Knowledge of Lean Manufuring or Lean Six Sigma (a must) Must speak french and be confortable in english

8500 Boul. de Rome, Brossard, QC J4Z 3H8 Shift available : 2 collaborators per night shift on weekdays: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 6:00 (40 hours per week over 4 days) 2 collaborators per weekend night shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 to 6:00 (36 hours per week over 3 days) Bonus included on night shifts from 12:00pm to 06:00pm
