Temporary Customer Service Representative (5 month term)

Location: Central District (180 Kent Street)

Position Summary: Reporting to the Supervisor, Contact Centre, the Temporary Customer Service Representative provides product and service information to the Company’s customers.

Qualifications:

Related diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary educational institution with related courses in communication; Working knowledge of MECL customer information systems, rates, standards, policies and procedures; Ability to work effectively in a team environment; Good communication, investigative and problem solving skills; Working knowledge of the Joint Use Agreement and an understanding of Geo Linc; and Demonstrated sound working knowledge of and aptitude for the use of computers and applicable software related to the job.

Rate of Pay: Full-time rate is $33.91 per hour. The temporary rate for the first three months is $30.52 representing 90% of full rate. After three months in the position, the rate moves to $32.21 representing 95% of full rate for the position.
