Type of position: Regular

Your future role on our team You will be part of our dynamic team specialized inindustrial building services. You will lead medium-sized projects in studiesand detailed engineering mandates related to mechanical services in the mining,energy and heavy industry sectors.
Your role as project manager will be to coordinatewith various stakeholders to ensure the completion of mechanical services(ventilation, dust collection, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, fireprotection, compressed air, energy recovery) for various industrialapplications. You will work with a dynamic team and will be called upon toshare your technical and project management knowledge.

You will also be called upon to play an active role inseeking business opportunities with our clients and to participate in draftingwinning proposals. You will need to help with the firm’s business developmentby maintaining internal and external client relationships. You will be workingin the Greater Montréal area, at our Mont-Saint-Hilaire office and occasionallyat our Montréal office.

Establish budgets and schedules and ensure staff engagement. Share project objectives with your team. Be responsible for the quality of deliverables, costs, schedules as well as quality and health and safety. Check performance indicators and share results with clients on a monthly basis. Coach project leaders to achieve objectives. Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction. Presentchange notices to clients and define additional mandates with them.

Overview of certifications andjob requirements

University degree in Mechanical Engineering and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec About 15 years of relevant industry experience Experience in mechanical project management in the industrial, energy or mining sectors Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical services Available for short-term travel outside the office Relevant experience in project management and drafting technical reports Bilingual(English and French)
