CSN Collision safely repairs more than 200,000 vehicles a year helping customers get back on the road with the trust and comfort of knowing their vehicle has been returned to like new condition. Since 2002, CSN has grown to become the leader in collision repair with 325 collision repair centres across North America and Europe.
SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst- Accounting is primarily responsible for supporting day to day accounting for both the Canadian and US operations This includes more complex components of the full accounting cycle and managing initial escalations from other team members. The Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting will also be actively involved in implementing a new ERP system through 2024 and 2025.
Primary Objectives of the Role
- Manage month / quarter / year end closing process, including recording of all accruals, review of GL and assisting in the preparation of financial package.
- Supervise AP/AR and central payment for the CSN Operations.
- Review monthly billing, AP / AR processes, insurance rebates and central payments.
- Oversee the reconciliation of some key insurance accounts and corresponding insurance rebate accounts.
- Manage the reconciliation of receivables and payables while maintaining the accrued payable accounts.
- Provide support to external audits.
- Support the implementation of the new ERP system.
- Assist junior team members in resolving common challenges.
- Update internal policies and procedures as required.
- Support both the Finance Manager and Director with Key Initiatives
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- Completion of university degree in accounting or business
- Accounting designation (CPA) completed or near completion.
- Minimum of 3-5 years progressive accounting experience
- Commitment to continued education/training in leadership, finance, and accounting.
- Work experience in the USA or Europe is an asset.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

- Knowledge of the full accounting cycle
- Communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Good judgement as it relates to when to make individual decisions and when to solicit feedback from others.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and manage ambiguity.
- Problem solving / troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office, accounting systems and an ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 and Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics) accounting systems is an Asset.
- ERP System Implementation experience is an asset.
- This role is based out of our corporate office in Oakville, Ontario which is an open concept office.
- This is a hybrid role, working from the office 2/3 days per week.
