Adecco is currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect. This is a 12-month Hybrid contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. This role is with one of our crown corporation client based in Ottawa or Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance.
The Solutions Architect will have the following responsibilities:
  • -Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that meet business requirements and align with the organization's strategic goals;
  • Works closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and project managers, to ensure that solutions are technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective;
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support;
  • Provide API governance and EDI partner management based on IBM APIM, APIC, ACE and EDI technologies with consideration given to kakfa/confluent and other event processing technologies;
The Solutions Architect must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering or application resiliency or disaster recovery design
  • 5+ years as a Solution Architect or in a similar role involving the design and implementation of complex IT solutions.
  • At least 3 years of experience with AWS or Azure or private cloud based tools;
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies and languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python)
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, would be considered a strong asset;
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, automation) to enhance the efficiency and quality of solution delivery.
