WHAT YOU'LL DO

Report to the Data Engineering Team Lead. Create and implement solutions aimed at enhancing customer experiences. Engage with business partners to understand and gather requirements for strategic initiatives. Explore new products, tools, and data technologies to modernize existing tech stacks and add value to the business. Develop and maintain data pipelines, conduct data profiling, and contribute to data modeling and schema designs. Identify technical debt and operational improvements, implementing solutions while adhering to best practices. Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency, offering on-call support to monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or related fields. Exposure or internships in data analysis, programming, or related areas. Familiarity with languages like Python, SQL, and basic understanding of database engines. Exposure to data modeling, ETL processes, or data warehousing methodologies. Project experience with software development or data engineering practices through coursework or personal projects. Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies and methodologies. Knowledge with test driven development (TDD), continuous integration and deployment.

SKILLS

Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with programming languages like Python, SQL, or similar. Basic Data Concepts: Data Modeling, ETL Processes Tools: Basic understanding of ETL tools or cloud-based data warehousing technologies. Problem-solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team. Adaptability: Quick to grasp new concepts and technologies Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and comprehend complex datasets.
