We’re looking for a  Journeyperson Pipefitter , local to the Red Deer area, to join our team with an immediate start date for a long-term maintenance contract. What You’ll Do:

Maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Maintain and repair pressurized piping systems. Hydro test and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.

Qualifications:

Journeyperson Pipefitter Ticket Experience in a complex Petro-Chemical facility is required Experience in maintenance processes Required Safety Tickets: CSTS-2020Energy Safety CanadaFall ProtectionConfined SpaceEWP (considered an asset) Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Test

Working Conditions  

Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions Working in a confined space Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements

Must be clean shaven Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance Stand or walk for long periods of time Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
