Chef de Partie- Employee Dining

Job Description

Ensuring a balanced and healthy menu for Rimrock staff while meeting high service standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan daily staff cafeteria menus for 300 staff with a focus on healthy, tasty from scratch cooked food
  • Plan menus for special staff functions
  • Execute food preparation and cooking activities with focus on Quality
  • Order adequate amounts of food as required for planned menus and to meet demand
  • Train all staff cafeteria employees on proper Hotel protocol and procedures and according to Food Safe practices
  • Always maintain a clean and safe work environment and obey to HACCAP Standards

Qualifications

  • Food Safe certification
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience working in a culinary role
  • Red Seal or equivalent
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Actively contributes to a positive and motivating work environment
  • Creative with a keen attention to detail
