Atthis new location we are looking for aRegistered Early ChildhoodEducator program teacher with aspecial focus on providing a supportiveenvironment for Toddlers (1.5 to 2.5 years) and Preschoolers (2.5to 4 years up to the age children enterKindergarten).

- Passionfor Children. You love workingwith prekindergarten children and aspire to help them grow anddevelop. You are also motivated to provide the best care andeducation tailored for their earlystage developmental needsMaintainopen and effective communication with parents and guardiansincluding the ability to handle difficult conversations and discusschildrens developmentalprogress..

YourResponsibilities How We Nurture EarlyStageDevelopment
- Createa safe and nurturing environment for the Toddlers and Preschoolersin your care. Ensure the healthsafety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
- Developand implement ageappropriate curriculum plans andactivities with modificationsusing Universal Design for Learning. This willinvolve a more handson approach that supports early developmentalmilestones among Toddlers and Preschoolers such as motor skillslanguage acquisition and socialinteraction.
- Provideguidance and scaffold children as they learn andgrow. Be attentive with thechildren and encourage their social emotional cognitive andphysical development. You must create an environment that canpromote language communication early literacy and fine motorskills.
- Maintainopen and effective communication with parents andguardians including the ability to handle difficultconversations and discuss childrens developmentalprogress.
- Keepaccurate records of daily activities including meals naps andbehavior. Our team uses the Lillio appto communicate these daily activities with parents andguardians.
- Createand implement Individual Support Plans when required andhave the ability to advocate for children with their individualneeds.

Requirements
- HavePR status
- Not astudent
- Fluent in English (oral andwriting)
- ***Membership MUST be ingood standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators(we only accept ECEs for this agegroup)***
- Have aminimum 2year employment experience working with Toddler andPreschool children in a groupsetting
- Experienced in using ELECTand How Does Learning Happen in Emergent Curriculumplanning
- All necessaryqualifications and credentials as required by the Ministry ofEducation
- Valid Standard First Aidand CPRC/AEDCertification
