Are you available to work in a Hybrid work setting in Victoria BC? We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst for an initial 7 month contract in Victoria

This position requires working on-site 1 day/week.

Responsibilities
a) Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews,
workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.
b) Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements
accordingly.
c) Translate business and conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed use cases, functional
and non-functional requirements, and functional design specifications.
d) Work with business and delivery teams to prioritize requirements.
e) Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder
discussions and escalate issues where appropriate.
f) Develop additional artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope
documentation, impact assessments, and process flows.
g) Other related duties as required.

Qualifications
a)Minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst
b)Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience documenting requirements for software procurements
c)Post-secondary degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
d)Experience creating procurement-level specifications for initiating a software procurement process (nice to have)
e)Experience documenting requirements for digital signature use cases (nice to have)
f)Experience creating operational processes / standard operating procedures (nice to have)
g)Experience supporting training/change management activities (nice to have)
h)Experience defining financial metrics and KPIs for procuring and operating Software-as-a-Service software (nice to have)
