LOCATION: Osoyoos, BC
STATUS: Seasonal Hourly Contract (Mar – Nov)

COMPENSATION: $24-$27/hour plus % of team gratuity program

OPPORTUNITY:

As the Senior Sous Chef at Nk’Mip Cellars, you play a crucial role in crafting the dining experience our guests will cherish. From their arrival, you contribute to creating lasting memories by delivering an exceptional experience that complements our award-winning wines.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring culinary staffing levels and stock levels.Building upon existing relationships with our local farms and purveyors.Communicating respectfully with direct and indirect reports.Development / execution of seasonal menus and events.Understanding of food and wine pairings.Understanding and execution of organizational systems to ensure efficiency of day-to-day operations.Assisting in the hiring and training of seasonal staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 Years of Previous Culinary ExperienceRed Seal Certification an AssetPrevious Private Events & Catering Experience an AssetFood Safe Level 2 CertificationExperience and Knowledge of Wine and Food PairingExcellent organizational, time management, interpersonal & communications skills.Ability to Multitask and has an Attention to DetailOpen Availability Scheduling
