Print Production Associate

Our client in the printing industry is seeking a Print Production Associate for an on-site position in a professional environment. This entry-level role is focused on providing excellent print services, including digital printing and finishing. If you're an organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for client service and hands-on production, this could be a great opportunity to start or continue your career in print production.

What is in it for you:

• Hourly salary of $20.11, based on experience.
• 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.
• On-site work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate digital printing equipment and standard finishing tools such as paper cutters, bindery, laminators, and drills.
• Act as the point of contact for customer requests: provide estimates, schedule, and track production jobs.
• Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after each production run to ensure high standards.
• Track and store completed jobs for future reuse as required by the customer.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for billing and internal tracking purposes.
• Pack, label, and ship finished products to meet client delivery requirements.
• Maintain supply inventory levels and ensure the work area is stocked.
• Troubleshoot basic production, output, and delivery issues as they arise.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or move for up to 80% of the workday.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role, including developing skills in print technologies.

What you will need to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Post-high school technology training or experience in printing is preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service or client-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe software, and other relevant tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for most of the workday.
• Security clearance may be required based on project needs.
