Job Title: Printing Press Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our printing press department. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising workers and projects, overseeing apprenticeship training, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality output.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to develop the skills of new employees.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and improve productivity.
  • Provide technical and professional advice to employees and management.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of printing press operations and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a printing press environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
  • Work a standard 30-40 hour workweek.
  • Free parking available on site.
