Job Description:

As a Pricer, you will be responsible for assessing and pricing a variety of vintage and thrift items, including clothing, accessories, furniture, and collectibles. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our products are fairly priced to reflect their value, rarity, and condition, appealing to our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Price Items: Evaluate the condition, brand, age, and market value of vintage and thrift items to assign appropriate prices.
  • Quality Control: Inspect items for authenticity, damage, or repairs, and categorize them accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the receiving and merchandising teams to ensure a smooth flow of items from donation/purchase to the sales floor.
  • Customer Assistance
  • Merchandising Support: Assist in creating appealing displays that highlight high-value items.
  • Social Media Post: Facebook, Instagram, shopify etc. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail or vintage setting preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of vintage and thrift items, including clothing, accessories, furniture, and collectibles.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and ability to identify unique features that affect an item’s value.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct market research and price comparisons to stay competitive.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
  • Organization: Ability to keep records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Passion for Vintage: A genuine interest in vintage and second-hand items.
