Do you have interests in leading a small team in carrying out repairs, renovations and improvements to our multi-unit residential buildings and sites. This work will include building and/or improving a variety of components on fully-occupied apartment and townhome sites. Your contributions to the team

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day to day work activities of the crew Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of projects in a timely manner Oversee the execution of the work, including quality and production, by ensuring that crews work to job specifications Monitor the use of materials and resources to ensure operations are within budget Set and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity Recognize, address and resolve issues or problems among crew Work with Specialty Teams Supervisor on all field aspects of the project budget, schedule and productivity Provide hands-on assistance and guidance on all construction and renovation projects

What you need to be successful

Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential wood frame construction, repair, and renovation Minimum 3 years’ supervisory or team lead experience Journeyperson Carpentry certification an asset Knowledgeable in reading and understanding construction plans Demonstrated ability in carpentry and building maintenance Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment Willing and able to travel
