We share our expertise from concept to completion - ensuring developments are sustainable for generations to come. **We are looking for an exceptional Foreman who will support our construction team and at times be an onsite worker, helping build communities at full throttle, all the while, upleveling their skills and working towards becoming a Site Supervisor. The Site Foreman plays a fundamental role in supporting all aspects of construction so that the project is completed safely, on time and on budget.**

- you have successfully supported on a residential build site in the past and have experience in carpentry (or other residential construction skills).

**Responsibilities**:
- Support the Site Superintendent in the day-to-day operation of a residential construction site, and show leadership with other staff and trades on site.
- Overseeing and maintaining site when Site Super is offsite.
- Have a good understanding of the build.
- Manual labour tasks, such as snow removal, moving framing materials and general clean up on the site and buildings, if needed.
- Minor framing tasks, such as adding blocking, shimming, setting exterior doors, etc.
- Heavy lifting may be required, such as moving temporary walkways and small heaters.
- Duties may vary depending on previous work experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Guide and mentor the site labourer.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports.
- Pickup/ deliver and load/ unload materials and move materials to the work area, when needed.
- Assist with the preparation of modular units prior to craning including the use of power tools.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the job site.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- 10 years + experience with residential construction (multi-family considered an asset) is required, 10 years, minimum.
- 5 years experience successfully leading site crews
- Hard-working, organized, and self-driven; able to work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision at times.
- Knowledge and experience with various carpentry/ construction skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation.
- Should have the ability to use basic power tools and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Preferred if have some personal basic tools.
- Must own a pair of steel toe work boots.
Salary will be determined depending on experience.
