What you’ll do:

Lead the petroleum team to provide exceptional customer experiences and build strong relationships with our customers. Build and maintain excellent relationships with owners and potential customers. Collaborate with Marketing and Energy Sales Manager to create fuel program initiatives. Manage petroleum operations to meet and/or exceed annual budgeted financial goals. Lead annual planning, goal setting, budgeting, and talent management processes for the petroleum team. Ensure provincial fuel dispatches are planned effectively and efficiently. Maintain and audit driver, maintenance and inspection records to ensure compliance with National Safety Code Standards. Prepare and manage budgets for petroleum operations and ensure financial targets are met. Provide regular performance, production, and project reports to senior management. Maintain Bulk Fuel and Cardlock stations. Operate forklift to load customer oil and lube orders. Be safety aware and contribute to building and sustaining safety culture. Ensure administrative requirements of the role are maintained on an ongoing basis. Ensure employee development and succession planning is a high priority. Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.  Additional tasks as assigned by the Associate Director of Energy, Home & Agro.

Who you are: 

Experience within the Co-op Retailing System is an asset. Experience and knowledge of Provincial driving rules and regulations Experience and knowledge of National Safety Code Standards and procedures. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple demands. Demonstrate effective team leadership skills and work well within a diverse, highly motivated team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to manage files. Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do. Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, recognizing the value of different perspectives to meet shared objectives. Ability to lift 50lbs on a daily basis.
