Junior Rail Systems Engineering Trainee

You bring to the role:
Graduate with an Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent) degree from an accredited University; 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role is an asset; Interested in rail systems as a career; Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation; Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset; Knowledge or experience in a consultancy environment undertaking infrastructure projects, will be an asset; Ability to work in a team environment with multidisciplinary interaction; Attributes of a young professional: Team Player; Passion for learning, challenges and your field of study; Relationship builders and community oriented; Interested in innovation, sustainability, safety and quality.Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):
Good understanding of Engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to Engineering problems and projects; Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges; Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges; Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and an ability to understand innovation; Adapts and embraces change.Note: Applicants must submit a transcript (official or unofficial) upon application.
