Junior Rail Systems Engineering Trainee

As the successful candidate, you will:
- Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out tasks for projects in the field of Rail Systems which covers:
- Advanced train control systems
- Application software and simulation
- Traction power
- Communications (Radio, Fiber optics, CCTV, Intercom, Public Announcement)
- SCADA
- Signalling systems
- Crossing warning systems
- Electrical
- Testing and commissioning
You bring to the role:
- Graduate with an Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent) degree from an accredited University
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role is an asset
- Interested in rail systems as a career
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset
- Knowledge or experience in a consultancy environment undertaking infrastructure projects, will be an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment with multidisciplinary interaction
