Service Technician

Brandt est actuellement à la recherche d'un technicien de service chantier pour sa succursale de Edmundston.
Ce poste est responsable de la réparation et de l’entretien de l’équipement lourd (Construction et Foresterie) et des accessoires sur les chantiers.
Tâches et responsabilités
- Évaluer l’état de fonctionnement, diagnostiquer, assembler/démonter, commander des pièces et réparer l’équipement lourd
- Utiliser les outils et l’équipement de façon sécuritaire et efficace
- Utiliser des instruments, des outils manuels et électriques, de l’équipement secondaire et des systèmes informatiques connexes
- Documentez de manière précise et complète, sur les bons de travail, toutes les informations sur la machine, les actions prises et le temps passé
- Évaluer les risques liés aux tâches de maintenance et s’assurer que le travail soit effectué en toute sécurité et conformément aux normes acceptées
- Utiliser des applications informatiques et des systèmes d’information (c.-à-d. John Deere Service Advisor) pour documenter la maintenance, l’inspection et le diagnostic
- Utiliser des catalogues de pièces pour trouver et commander des pièces auprès du personnel des pièces
- Essaie routière pour vérifier le fonctionnement de l’équipement et des attachements, au besoin
Compétences requises
- Capacité à communiquer et à travailler avec les clients, l’équipe du service et le personnel de la succursale
- Connaissance des systèmes mécaniques, électriques et hydrauliques
- Doit être capable de répondre aux exigences physiques (levage lourd jusqu’à 23 kg, grimper, lever des charges vers le haut, position debout prolongée, contrôle de la motricité fine)
Expérience requise
- Expérience préalable dans le domaine de la machinerie/mécanique d’équipement lourd souhaitée
- Être inscrit comme apprenti ou compagnon certifié dans le métier de technicien d’équipement lourd ou dans un métier équivalent de préférence
- Engagement à l’égard du service à la clientèle et de l’excellence du service

Brandt is currently seeking a Field Service Technician for our Edmundston location.
This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment
- Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
- Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken
- Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards
- Use computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
- Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel
- Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required
Required Skills
- Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel
- Must be able to meet physical demands (heavy lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, overhead lifting/postures, prolonged standing, sensory processing, fine motor control)
Required Experience
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is preferred
- Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
- Must be committed to customer service and service excellence
