OurExpertTutors are role models for thestudents studying in our cybersecurity program. They mentorstudents help them with difficult concepts and assignments andteach them the skills necessary to be great cybersecurityprofessionals. They guide students through the program and intotheir future careers ensuring all students get the most out of bothregardless of their background.



Whatyou will do:

As an expert tutor you will be abig part of students educational process andwill:

  • Mentor students during 11 videocalls; you ll be dealing with different questions from studentsincluding a deeper explanation of certain concepts tools or skillssupporting and navigating students in theirassignments;
  • Communicate with students viavideo during group Q&A sessions for dropinquestions;
  • Host webinars and other educationalevents for groups of students (about the content covered in ourprogram extracurricular skills career and industry knowledge) orattend other noneducational meetings withstudents;
  • Share your professional expertise andbest industry practices with thestudents;
  • Develop a community among thestudents encouraging and teaching community norms in social spaceslike Discord Twitter and Reddit so that students can easily connectand communicate in realworld cybersecurity communities.

  • Pay rate of $4550 per hour based onexperience;
  • Remote parttime work (1015 hoursper week up to 20 hours per week can bediscussed);

Requirements:

  • You have 3years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Experience withtools such as Nmap Wireshark Metasploit Burp Suite Splunk ELK andmore. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware Oracle VirtualBox)and cloud technologies;
  • Familiarity with cloudsecurity tools like CrowdStrike Cisco SecureX Prisma Cloud andmore;
  • Experience in incident response andcrisis management within a businessenvironment;
  • You have 3 years of experienceworking in the US tech industry and have been exposed tocybersecurity standards such as NIST ISO and other regulatoryframeworks;
  • You are ready to dedicate 1015hours a week (or slightly more if you wish) to this projectsometimes on weekends;
  • You are passionate aboutyour profession the Cyber field and its development.
