ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Program Manager is a member of HSO’s Client and Assessment Services team, reporting to the Regional Director, Québec, and Eastern Canada. Client and Assessment Services, the client services business unit of the Enterprise, support customers in the implementation and application of assessment programs in Canada and worldwide. They also customize programs to customer needs and develop tools to support accreditation programs, such as assessment manuals.

This Senior Program Manager role is ideal for a compassionate leader, with a solid clinical background, who actively listens, mentors, and engages with their team. As a resilient change agent, you possess a growth mindset with the ability to pivot, problem solve and continuously learn in a dynamic environment. You will be a positive source of energy and stability, staying focused on the collective difference we are all making towards a safer care and a healthier world.

Main responsibilities:

Leading the design, co-production, and release of assessment manuals and impact reports on assessments in collaboration with the team, subject matter experts, and clients. Ensures that the manuals and tools developed not only comply with HSO standards but are also applicable to the care environments and services for which they are intended and can be easily used by clinical teams. Coordinate the semantic translation and revision of documents relating to standards and tools supporting accreditation activities. Planning, documenting, and managing defined project requirements and scope, delivered on time and on budget. Continuously contributing to the improvement and innovation. Effective collaboration internally across business units, and externally with national subject matter experts, people with lived experience, policy leaders and healthcare providers.

Must Have Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field, such as Health Sciences, Health Policy, or Business Administration. Clinical experience in a large health care organization in Québec as a regulated health care provider in good standing. Progressive leadership experience (5-7 years). Accreditation experience (5-7 years). Exceptional writing, editing, facilitation and presentation skills; able to represent the organization and meaningfully interpret standards to internal and external audiences. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Knowledge of the health and social services legislative, regulatory, policy, research, and health system landscape.

Desired Qualifications:

Project management certification or experience. Experience in public participation and community engagement. Experience in environmental scanning and literature appraisal. Bilingualism French/English is essential.
